The Salem Greyhounds basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Westside Warriors to 32 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Greyhounds now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Buffalo Island Central for a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. Salem will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 44-34 non-league loss to Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Westside falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-0.
