Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), 73-68 in a non-league game.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league game on Saturday, November 15. Berkmar will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Chamblee (Chamblee, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldoggs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Grayson (Loganville, GA). The Rams go into the AAAAAA Region 4 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Grayson nipped Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA), 77-56, in a non-league game.
