The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Venus trounced Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX), 64-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 14. Slocum will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
