The Latexo Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Centerville Bulldogs to 35 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slocum for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 15. Latexo will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-36 non-league loss to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 77-42 non-league win over San Augustine (San Augustine, TX).
