In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored a big 80-55 triumph over the Lopez Lobos.
The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Pace was trounced by Weslaco (Weslaco, TX), 59-20, in a non-league contest.
