In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Plano East Panthers basketball team scored a big 71-50 triumph over the Sherman Bearcats.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Liberty smashed McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 66-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 14. Sherman will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Horn (Mesquite, TX).
