The Bergman Panthers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Jasper Pirates to 48 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 14. Bergman will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Bigelow (Bigelow, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bay (Bay, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Bay was crushed by Manila (Manila, AR), 50-41, in a non-league outing.
