The Pirates now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Donna North for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 18. Hidalgo Early College will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 32-13 non-league loss to Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-2.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Weslaco East achieved victory over Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX), 40-12, in a non-league bout.
