Lafayette Christian Cougars (LaGrange, GA) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team overcome the visiting Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA), 19-7 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS (Griffin, GA) in a GAPPS D1 Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, November 13. Lafayette Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The LIONS enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Community Christian (Stockbridge, GA).

The Lions (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The Saints enter the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Johnson Ferry Christian Academy topped Cherokee Christian (Woodstock, GA), 24-6, in a league outing.
