The Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks basketball team (Hammond, IN), was nudged 60-53 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN)

The Oilers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hebron for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 17. Whiting will confront a Hawks team coming off a 57-22 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.

The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lighthouse College Prep Academy (Gary, IN). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
