Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Timbo Tigers (Timbo, AR), 58-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR) to clash with the Pirates in a 1A Region 2 bout on Thursday, November 16. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Calico Rock lost 57-38 in their recent league bout against Rural Special (Fox, AR)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Timbo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 61-57 non-league win over Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR).
