The Harrisburg Hornets basketball team (Harrisburg, AR), was nudged 46-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR)

The Patriots now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a non-league battle on Friday, November 17. Palestine-Wheatley will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 80-24 non-league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Cross County edged Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
