The South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) basketball knocked off the host Houlka Wildcats (Houlka, MS), 48-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record.

The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bruce for a non-league test on Friday, November 17. Houlka will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
