Mississippi High School Basketball - Hernando holds off Center Hill

November 14, 2023: Hernando, MS 38632

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) and the visiting Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), saw Hernando's basketball squad hold off Center Hill by a tally of 58-55.

With the victory, Hernando improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. South Pontotoc won 50-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MS)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Holly Springs Hawks (Holly Springs, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Center Hill will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 68-19 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
