East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX), 42-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Chambers upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hargrave (Huffman, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Hargrave lost 45-28 in their recent non-league bout against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the Kountze Lions (Kountze, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Evadale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Normangee (Normangee, TX).
