Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL), 37-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Saks upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
