Texas High School Basketball - Leggett can't hold off Kennard

The Kennard Tigers basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Leggett Pirates to 28 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wells for a 1A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, December 5.

The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pollok Central (Pollok, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pollok Central nudged Groveton (Groveton, TX), 56-12, in a non-league contest.
