Mississippi High School Basketball - Palmer nudges Leflore County

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS), by a count of 35-34.

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Amanda Elzy was tipped by Gentry (Indianola, MS), 39-29, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Coffeeville for a non-league outing on Thursday, November 16. Leflore County will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 44-25 non-league loss to North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
