Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC) and the visiting New Life Christian Academy Warriors (Rocky Mount, NC), witnessed Northeast Academy's basketball squad nip New Life Christian Academy by a margin of 31-27.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Kerr-Vance Academy got by Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC), 54-41, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, November 16.
