In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Columbus Falcons basketball team scored a good 67-48 triumph over the Starkville Yellowjackets.
The Falcons (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hoover was toppled by Huffman (Birmingham, AL), 80-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 19. Starkville will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
