The Summerfield Rebels basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Family Community Christian to 44 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Doyline for a non-league game on Friday, November 15. Summerfield will confront a Panthers team coming off a 69-36 non-league win over Evans (Evans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Family Community Christian falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The host Forest (Forest, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a B District 2 game on Tuesday, November 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-4. Forest won 52-50 in their recent league game against Downsville (Downsville, LA)
