In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Bradley Bears basketball team scored a close 44-40 triumph over the Blevins Hornets.
The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fouke nipped Carthage (Carthage, TX), 63-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Umpire Wildcats (Umpire, AR) in a 1A Region 7 contest, on Friday, November 15. Blevins will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 69-19 non-league loss to Spring Hill (Hope, AR).
