Alabama High School Basketball - Homewood holds off Pinson Valley

The Homewood Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Pinson Valley Indians to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Helena for a non-league game on Monday, November 18. Homewood will confront a Huskies team coming off a 74-27 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Pinson Valley falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 4-1. Pleasant Grove lost 61-55 in their recent non-league game against Ramsay (Birmingham, AL)
