The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kirk Academy Raiders (Grenada, MS) and the host Winona Christian Stars (Winona, MS), observed Kirk Academy's basketball team overwhelm Winona Christian by a score of 56-34.

The Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against DeSoto (West Helena, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record.

In their next game, the Stars encounter the Oak Hill Academy Raiders (West Point, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Winona Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
