The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans basketball squad (Meridian, MS), was nudged 35-31 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Newton Tigers (Newton, MS)
With the victory, Newton advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers host Kemper County (DeKalb, MS) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 3-2.
The Trojans now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 19. Northeast Lauderdale will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
