The Phoenix Academy Firebirds basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Millennium Lions to 49 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Firebirds now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Bethany Community for a non-league game on Friday, November 15. Phoenix Academy will confront a Wolves team coming off a 36-27 non-league win over Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Millennium falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Bengals in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Bengals go into the game with a record of 0-0.
