St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the host San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers (San Marcos, TX), 63-56 in a non-league contest.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Bracken Christian nipped San Marcos Academy (San Marcos, TX), 64-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Valor South Austin Falcons (Austin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 14. San Marcos HomeSchool will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 66-34 non-league loss to St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX).
