In Friday's league contest, the visiting Austin Mustangs basketball team scored a close 47-45 triumph over the Westbury Huskies.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record.
The Huskies now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, November 18. Westbury will face a Marlins squad coming off a 52-22 league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Marlins record now stands at 0-2.
