Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) backers went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Horizon Christian Academy Warriors (Cumming, GA), 51-41 in a non-league contest.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA). The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Riverside Military Academy was topped by Banks County (Homer, GA), 57-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18. Horizon Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Fideles Christian (Cumming, GA).
