Mississippi High School Basketball - Horn Lake nudges Lake Cormorant

November 15, 2022: Lake Cormorant, MS 38641

Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS), 65-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Horn Lake upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the clash with the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Lake Cormorant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 54-46 non-league win over Independence (Independence, MS).
