The Richards Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals to 19 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 16. Richards will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Shepard triumphed over Thornton (Harvey, IL), 47-41, in a non-league contest.
