California High School Basketball - Mendez nips Bernstein

Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bernstein Dragons (Hollywood, CA), 23-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Mendez upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Belmont (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Sentinels in a bout on Thursday, November 17. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Dragons play the Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Bernstein will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Barristers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 45-16 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA).
