Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) and the host Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), saw East Wake Academy's basketball squad knock off Southern Wake Academy by a tally of 47-27.
With the victory, East Wake Academy improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Vance Charter (Henderson, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Lions play the Thales Academy Apex Titans (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
