In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored a good 60-49 triumph over the Mansfield Tigers.
The Volunteers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, West Mesquite topped Lamar (Arlington, TX), 37-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 16. Mansfield will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 62-23 non-league win over Samuell (Dallas, TX).
