In Friday's non-league match, the host Narragansett Mariners football squad scored a good 48-30 victory over the Smithfield Sentinels.

The Mariners (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Davies Career & Tech thwarted Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout (West Greenwich, RI), 49-36, in a non-league match.
