In Friday's non-league contest, the host Simpson Broncos basketball team scored a big 67-36 triumph over the Holden Rockets.
The Broncos (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Hicks smashed Florien (Florien, LA), 62-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Glenmora Wildcats (Glenmora, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 16. Holden will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 53-35 non-league win over Ebarb (Noble, LA).
