The Nelson Island Islanders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Kongiganak Wolverines to 0 in the Islanders league triumph on Friday.
The Islanders now have a 18-0 record. They play next when they travel to Akiuk Memorial for a Mix 6 Alaska Coastal outing on Saturday, November 16. Nelson Island will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Nelson Island (Toksook Bay, AK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Kongiganak drops to 0-1 on the campaign.
