Game Summary

You had to be there, and see it to believe it! Barlow jumped up on top early and got out to a 3-0 lead, but fell asleep in the 2nd quarter to allow Lake Oswego to take a 6-3 lead at halftime. Lake Oswego extended that lead to 8-4 heading into the 4th quarter. Something suddenly clicked for the Bruins, and turned it into another gear. Barlow scored 5 unanswered goals to take a 9-8 lead with just under a minute left in the game. Lake Oswego stopped the bleeding to tie the game at 9-9 with 0:11 seconds left. The craziness in the next 7 seconds included an exclusion by Lake Oswego for jumping too early on the post-goal pass, as Makayla Rieglemann pushed the ball up, a common foul occurred, and without hesitating, she popped the ball and fired in the game winning goal…. the Bruins from Sam Barlow closed the season to win 3rd Place in the State Playoffs!
