Georgia High School Basketball - Heritage knocked off by Alcovy

November 16, 2022: Covington, GA 30014

The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Heritage Patriots to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Locust Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Alcovy will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 37-25 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Union Grove ran past Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 30-18, in a non-league contest.
