Louisiana High School Basketball - South Plaquemines nudges Jefferson RISE Charter

In Thursday's non-league outing, the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA), by a margin of 78-73.

The Hurricanes (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Chalmette was tipped by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 76-57, in a non-league outing.

The now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Orleans Charter Science & Math for a non-league outing on Friday, November 17.
