The Madison Academy Mustangs topped the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons basketball team by a final score of 67-55 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Madison Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-38 non-league loss to Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson (Florence, AL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Wilson prevailed over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL), 69-24, in a non-league contest.
