The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), dropped 59-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Marshall Christian Academy Stallions (Albertville, AL)
The Stallions now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabernacle for a non-league battle on Friday, November 17. Marshall Christian Academy will confront a Torches team coming off a 42-37 league win over Clay County Christian Academy (Ashland, AL). The Torches record now stands at 2-0.
The (30-153) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Atlanta, GA). The Hawks enter the Atlanta Athletic contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Howard ran past Cumberland Academy of Georgia (Atlanta, GA), 63-37, in a league contest.
