The Anahuac Panthers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Cleveland Indians to 29 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jasper for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Anahuac will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Douglass (Douglass, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
The Indians (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Brazoswood was defeated by Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX), 53-20, in a non-league contest.
