Emerson Pirates (Emerson, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Columbia Christian Crusaders (Magnolia, AR), 67-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Emerson upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Garrett Memorial Christian won 63-31 in their recent non-league bout against Christian Ministries Academy (Hot Springs, AR)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Legacy Academy Warriors (Lockesburg, AR) in a Heartland Christian bout, on Monday, November 27. Columbia Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 54-36 non-league win over Gospel Light Christian (Hot Springs, AR).
