Louisiana High School Basketball - Family Christian can't hold off Hammond

The Hammond Tornadoes basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Family Christian Flames to 40 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salmen for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Hammond will battle a Spartans team coming off a 61-23 non-league win over Covington (Covington, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
The Flames (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Dunham edged Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 50-11, in a non-league contest.
