The Salem Greyhounds basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Mountain View Yellowjackets to 34 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bergman for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Salem will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.

The Yellowjackets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Marshall nudged Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR), 73-48, in a non-league contest.
