    The Roma Gladiators basketball team scored 60 points and held the host San Perlita Trojans to 20 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Gladiators now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymondville for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Roma will battle a Bearkats team coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 1-1.

    The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX). The Gators come into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record.
