Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 59-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Desert Vista upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Desert Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
