In Thursday's league challenge, the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), by a margin of 11-4.

The Patriots now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a PIHL Class A Blue challenge on Monday, November 20. Wheeling Park will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-7.

The Hilltoppers (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats come into the PIHL Class A Blue challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Beaver was ripped by Plum (Pittsburgh, PA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
