Texas High School Basketball - Alexander nips East Central

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Alexander Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 56-50 win over the East Central Hornets.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Nixon was tipped by Vela (Edinburg, TX), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 19. East Central will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Mules come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 67-60 non-league loss to Floresville (Floresville, TX).
